Palo Alto, CA and Tokyo, Japan – June 15, 2007 - SteelEye Technology® Inc., a subsidiary of SIOS Technology, Inc. and a leading provider of high availability clustering and data replication solutions for business continuity, today announced that President and CEO Paul Adams is stepping down from the position effective June 15, 2007.
Tomofumi "Tommy" Gotsubo, currently Senior Vice President of Global Operations of parent company, SIOS Technology, Inc., will take on the role of interim CEO until a replacement can be found. The search for a new CEO has already begun. Adams will stay on in an advisory role for an interim period.
Adams joined SteelEye as President and CEO in March 2002 and built the venture-backed entity SteelEye Technology into a leading provider of data protection and application availability solutions for business continuity and disaster recovery, and into a profitable and growing venture culminating in its acquisition by SIOS in June 2006.
