SteelEye Technology Announces LifeKeeper protection for Oracle Database 10g on IBM System p5 and eServer OpenPower Servers

Delivers expanded data and application availability management for Linux on POWER deployments

Palo Alto, CA - April 18, 2006 - SteelEye Technology® Inc., an innovator in data and application availability management solutions for the Linux® and Microsoft® Windows® operating systems, today announced the immediate availability of LifeKeeper™ protection for Oracle® Database 10g on IBM Linux on POWER™ processor-based systems. This solution for Oracle joins those previously announced for DB2, MySQL, Sybase, Apache, NFS and a variety of other Linux applications, databases and services.

Able to monitor Oracle databases, the servers on which Oracle resides, applications which sit on top of Oracle and any associated storage and network connections, LifeKeeper provides full end-to-end health checking of enterprise applications deployed in an Oracle environment.
