SteelEye Technology Inc. and Ingram Micro Inc. Enter Into North American Distribution Agreement

Ingram Micro to Market and Sell SteelEye's LifeKeeper Suite of High Availability Clustering, Data Replication and Disaster Recovery Solutions.

Mountain View, CA - September 10, 2004 - - SteelEye Technology® Inc., a leading provider of data and application availability management solutions for Linux and Windows, today announced it has entered into a distribution sales and marketing agreement with Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the world's largest technology distributor. Under this agreement, Ingram Micro will market and sell SteelEye's LifeKeeper line of high availability clustering, data replication and disaster recovery products to their broad and diverse customer base of value added resellers in North America.

SteelEye's LifeKeeper delivers enterprise class high availability clustering and data replication for systems and applications running in Linux and Windows environments. With LifeKeeper, organizations ranging from the smallest IT shop to large Fortune 500 data centers can create a highly reliable environment for their mission critical data and applications.
