SteelEye Technology Names Russell Shelton as
Vice President of Marketing
Broad experience in enterprise infrastructure software and services will help accelerate SteelEye's leadership and expansion
Mountain View, CA - October 4, 2002 - SteelEye Technology® Inc., a leading provider of cost-effective enterprise IT reliability solutions for business continuity, today announced the appointment of Russell Shelton as vice president of marketing. Shelton will report to Paul Adams, SteelEye's recently appointed President and CEO, and will be responsible for driving SteelEye's worldwide corporate marketing and product marketing activities.

Shelton brings more than 17 years of enterprise software marketing, business development and international sales experience from his successful tenure with leading IT infrastructure products and services companies in the United States and Europe. At Serena Software, Shelton held senior marketing management, business development and international sales positions, and was instrumental in guiding the company to become a dominant player in the enterprise change management market. At Diversified Software, as vice president of marketing and business development, Shelton lead the successful corporate re-positioning and launch of new products and services for the emerging Enterprise Operability market. Previous experience includes marketing and sales roles with Striva Technology, Data Dimensions and Computer People.
